Dr. Ellana Stinson is a distinguished leader whose multifaceted career spans the realms of healthcare, policy, and business, all driven by a deep-seated commitment to health equity and social justice. A proud alumna of Spelman College, Dr. Stinson began her journey with a strong foundation in service and leadership, values that continue to guide her work today.
She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College, where she developed her clinical expertise and a passion for providing high-quality care, particularly to underserved communities. Her experiences in the medical field solidified her resolve to address the systemic disparities that affect patient outcomes, particularly for marginalized populations.
Recognizing the critical intersection between healthcare and policy, Dr. Stinson pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. There, she deepened her understanding of how policy shapes health outcomes and gained the skills necessary to influence and advocate for reforms that promote equity and access across all sectors of healthcare.
Dr. Stinson's pursuit of excellence didn’t stop there. She also earned an MBA in Finance from Babson College, one of the nation’s top business schools.
